How can VHT help your horse?
As we ride a horse they are constantly adapting to allow for any changes in our balance. If your body is compensating for tightness or injury, it puts a greater strain on the horse as it tries to maintain its own balance. In extreme cases this can result in the horse developing asymmetrical muscle tone. In order to minimise the effects of your own asymmetries the horses you ride, regular body work can help to keep you more balanced and pain free.
What does a VHT session entail?
Suz will work with you in the comfort of your own home. Any details taken will be kept secure and confidential. The work is done on a massage couch through light clothing and a session lasts up to 45 minutes. The length of time depends on how your body reacts- for some people only a very few moves is needed to effect profound changes, and some people become so relaxed they fall asleep. If you are unable to lie on a couch, VHT can also be done standing or sitting. To read more about the results Suz’s work has had please read some of her testimonials.
